Who are the Authors of "Value-Based Health in Orthopaedics" ?

Eric C. Makhni, MD/ MBA :Sports Medicine & Joint Preservation, Shoulder, Elbow, Hip, Knee. Dr. Makhni is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and joint preservation of the shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee.  Dr. Makhni is on faculty at the Henry Ford Hospital and Wayne State University in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Division of Sports Medicine, MI, USA.

Dr. Benedict Nwachukwu is an orthopedic surgeon and specialist in hip, knee and shoulder surgery at HSS. Dr. Nwachukwu is the Co-Director of Clinical Research for the Sports Medicine Institute at HSS. He is also an Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr. Nwachukwu attended college at Columbia University and he obtained his MD from Harvard Medical School. He also obtained an MBA from Harvard Business School while a medical student. Dr. Nwachukwu completed his orthopedic surgery residency at HSS and his sports medicine fellowship training at the world renowned Rush University.

Kevin J. Bozic, M.D., MBA, is the chair of surgery and perioperative care at the Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin, TX, USA. He is an internationally recognized leader in orthopaedic surgery and value-based health care payment and delivery models.
