Dr. Winters is a leader in the field of critical care in the emergency department.
He is editor-in-chief of the textbook Emergency Department Resuscitation of the Critically Ill and he is the founder of the EM/IM/Critical Care Training Program at the University of Maryland Medical Center. He has taught courses nationally and internationally and won national education awards from ACEP and AAEM for his critical care teaching.
Dale P. Woolridge, MD, PhD, Professor, Emergency Medicine, University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ, USA. He joined the department in 2003. He currently serves as director of the Emergency Medicine/Pediatric Emergency Medicine Residency Program and as director of pediatric emergency medicine at the UA. He also is medical director of the Southern Arizona Children’s Advocacy Center in Tucson.
