Who are the Authors of "The Direct Anterior Approach to Hip Reconstruction 2nd Edition" ?

Dr. Lee Rubin is a fellowship trained, board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in adult reconstruction surgery, including total and partial hip replacement surgery and knee replacement surgery, as well as complex revision joint replacement surgery. He is an expert in minimally invasive, direct anterior approach total hip replacement and co-author of the world’s first comprehensive surgical textbook on this technique, published in 2016. Yale School of Medicine, New Haven, CT, USA.

Dr. Sonny Bal, MD, JD, MBA, Ph.D. has served on the Board of Directors of SINTX Technologies since February 2012, and as Chairman of the Board since August 2014. In October 2014, he was appointed the CEO & President of SINTX Technologies. Dr. Bal previously served as Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, and Adjunct Professor of Material Sciences at the University of Missouri. He has >20 years of clinical experience as an orthopedic surgeon and attorney and is affiliated with several professional organizations. In addition to serving on the editorial boards of peer-refereed journals, Dr. Bal has researched and published extensively in ceramic science and continues that work. Dr. Bal holds an M.D. from Cornell University, an M.B.A. from Northwestern University, a J.D. from the University of Missouri, and a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from the Kyoto Institute of Technology.

Joseph T. Moskal M.D. : Joint Replacement, Chair of Orthopaedics. A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., Dr. Moskal graduated with his B.A. (Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude) from State University of New York at Binghamton, Binghamton, N.Y. After receiving his Doctor of Medicine from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Mo., he completed a residency at the University of Virginia Medical Center and a fellowship in Adult Reconstructive and Total Joint Replacement at Cleveland Clinic, followed by an Orthopaedic Traumatology fellowship at the Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services System in Baltimore.
