Carlos Parra-Herran, MD, Department of Pathology, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston, MA, USA.

Dr. Parra-Herran is an academic gynecologic pathologist with a research focus on the morphologic and molecular characterization of gynecologic tract neoplasia. He has authored more than 65 peer-reviewed journal articles and 15 book chapters.

He also edited one major textbook in gynecologic pathology (Foundations of Diagnostic Pathology, Elsevier 2020). He serves as teaching faculty for continuing medical education courses offered by multiple international societies such as the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology (USCAP), the International Society of Gynecological Pathologists and the Latin American Pathology Society. He also serves as a member of the education committee of the USCAP.
