Who are the authors of Ostergard's Textbook of Urogynecology : Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery 7th edition" ?

Ali Azadi  : Dr. Azadi is board certified in both OBGYN and FPMRS (Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery/Urogynecology).  He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at University of Tennessee, Memphis in 2008.  After finishing residency, he completed a three year fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (Urogynecology) at University of Louisville under the directorship of Dr. Donald Ostergard.

Dr. Azadi offers advanced minimally invasive approach to various pelvic floor problems such as pelvic organ prolapse, urinary and fecal incontinence and conditions such as overactive bladder, interstitial cystitis, genitourinary fistulas and pelvic pain.  He has expertise in robotic (da Vinci®) and laparoscopic surgeries as well as minimally invasive vaginal surgery.  Dr. Azadi has performed more than 1,000 successful robotic surgeries including the most advanced single site approach.

Jeffrey L. Cornella Dr. Cornella is Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. Dr. Cornella’s research interests include regenerative medicine applications in Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery. He is an adjunct professor at the School of Biological and Health Systems Engineering at Arizona State University.

Peter L. Dwyer MBBS, FRCOG, FRANZCOG, CU, is Director of the Urogynaecology Department at the Mercy Hospital for Women, Melbourne, Australia and is Clinical Professor of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Mercy Hospital and University of Melbourne. He has researched extensively in urogynaecology and pelvic floor dysfunction, and has published over 150 peer reviewed publications and book chapters. He is the author of Urinary Tract Infection in the Female with Stuart Stanton, and Atlas of Urogynecological Endoscopy.
