Who is the Author of "Grossman & Baim's Handbook of Cardiac Catheterization, Angiography and Intervention" ?

Mauro Moscucci, M.D., M.B.A. is a Medical Officer in the Division of Cardiovascular Devices at the FDA Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH).   

A recognized scholar, clinician and interventional cardiologist, Mauro Moscucci, MD, MBA is the author or co-author of more than 300 published medical papers, abstracts and book chapters. He is the editor of the textbook "Complications of Cardiovascular Procedures: Risk factors, Management and Bailout Techniques", the editor of the 9th edition of "Grossman and Baim's: Cardiac Catheterization, Angiography and Intervention", and the editor of the "Atlas of cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology".

Since his initial training in Interventional Cardiology, Dr. Moscucci has focused his career on outcome assessment and quality improvement in interventional cardiology. He is the founder of the Blood Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Cardiovascular Consortium (BMC2), a multicenter collaborative quality improvement program in interventional cardiology, which has become a benchmark in quality improvement
