Atlas of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology, 2° edition

Doubilet and Benson are two of the most prominent names in clinical ultrasound for obstetric and gynecologic applications. The first edition was widely praised for its image quality and has sold over 3700 units. The atlas covers all ultrasound uses in both obstetrics and gynecology, from sections on the normal anatomy of the fetus and non-fetal components to fetal abnormalities broken down by anatomical location, abnormalities of non-fetal components, obstetric procedures and gynecological anatomy and pathology. Gynecologic ultrasound guided procedures are also included. The second edition will add 25 new applications, including in utero infections, lissencephaly, neck masses, double outletright ventricle, prune belly syndrome, uterine rupture, cord entanglement in monoamniotic twins, treatment of cardiac abnormalities in the fetus, and oocyte retrieval.

The second edition will come with a website with completely searchable text and a full library of video clips. 3D ultrasound images and clips will be added in large numbers, and many of the 2D images will be replace from shots on newer equipement.
